Chelsea Anyiam Osigwe
Founder, Pinnacle Consultancy | Child Welfare Advocate | Visionary Leader
Chelsea Anyiam Osigwe, of British heritage and Nigerian descent, is a passionate advocate for child welfare and the visionary founder of Pinnacle Training and Consultancy. With over 16 years of experience working with vulnerable children in the UK, her mission has been clear and unwavering: to ensure that every child, no matter their background, receives the care, protection, and dignity they deserve.
With an LLB in Law, Chelsea’s career has been devoted to supporting children and young people who have experienced profound trauma, abuse, and neglect. While her legal education laid the foundation, it was the voices and stories of the children themselves that became her most powerful teachers—shaping her into a fierce advocate and compassionate leader.
Driven by a commitment to raise standards in child care, she established Pinnacle Training and Consultancy. The organization supports care home providers across the UK—similar in function to orphanages—by delivering trauma-informed training, safeguarding expertise, and professional development for care staff. Her goal is both simple and profound: to prepare caregivers to meet children not just with structure, but with empathy, skill, and healing.
The loss of her father to cancer in October 2024 was a deeply personal turning point. It reignited her sense of purpose and strengthened her resolve to honor her heritage by expanding her mission beyond the UK to Nigeria and West Africa.
Recognizing the urgent need for trauma-responsive care systems in the region, Chelsea is now spearheading the establishment of a network of orphanages across Nigeria, with plans for regional expansion. These centers will be rooted in the highest standards of care—mirroring the UK model—and staffed by professionals trained in trauma, resilience, and child development. More than just shelter, they will offer healing, structure, and hope.
Chelsea envisions a sustainable, Africa-led child care system—one that breaks the cycle of neglect and abuse, and builds a future where children not only survive but thrive.
Her guiding belief remains powerful and clear:
“Together, we can raise the standard of care—for every child, everywhere.”
